Summer...Endless sun, fun and laundry Our Family Room had become the dumping ground for our daughter's college “essentials”. Thus included everything from One Direction posters to zebra stripped pillows. Every day I would walk by it and just ignore it. Until it started to grow. This usually happened around the first of August. At first it was just a few small clothing items strewn on top. But then the big stuff started. Suddenly, there were two huge piles. I started seeing signs that there might be an attempt at cooking. That thought was very disturbing. I also noticed that every time I walked by the now piles, my eyes were watering. Could there be something decaying underneath there???? The day finally came when the piles were thrown into the back of our cars and taken away. Along with a piece of my heart. And even though they were gone, I was still getting teary eyed whenever I walked past the place they had been all summer. I wiped the tears away, reminding myself that the pile
